Swedenborgs stress that the church of the Lord is universal will get us beyond the division of faiths issues, and his views regarding the Essistential reality of man through the Divine Influx, guardian angels and the entire world around us being beamed in from heaven - takes us right away from "the out there" mentality. But then again just what would it take to change the world....
