I admit I have a lot of trouble trying to reconcile these ideas of a cosmic organism or cosmic Christ with my traditional faith which insists that God is personal. A cosmic God seems to not even be conscious in a way that I could relate to it. How then can I seek help from this God? It is as if I'm on my own again (a feeling I often get during prayer).
